Enjoy a weekend exploring the Greater Mohican Area with special programs about the area's rich history, abundant wildlife, vast recreational opportunities, and diverse natural resources.  For a complete schedule visit

Friday April 23

7-8pm         Keynote Speaker, Carleigh Fairchild, a two-time participant on the history channels "ALONE" series. Program held at Pleasant Hill Lake Park. Facebook LIVE will also be available for those not wishing to attend in person.

Saturday April 24

10am - 11am      Creative Canvas - Paint a masterpiece with the instruction of a local artist.  $10 per participant fee includes the materials and instruction. Space is limited, registration required. Register by calling 419-368-6885. Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center.

12-2pm   Nature Crafts for Kids - Take a short nature walk to gather items to use to make fun crafts to take home.  Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center. Registration required for 15 minutes time slots. Register at

6-8pm      Campfire Cooking - Learn how to safely build a campfire and try various cooking techniques and recipes. Food tasting is included! eet at the Messerly Recreation Center. Registration required for one hour time slots. Register at
